Edinburgh Zoo is definitely the wildest tourist attraction in Scotland. This zoo is the home to over 1000 fascinating and unique animals. If you don't like to get up close and personal with the animals by walking, then you could take a guided safari ride through the zoo to the wonderful hilltop, where you could enjoy panoramic views of the city. Just recently they had an addition to the zoo family by bringing Asiatic Lions to Edinburgh. This is no ordinary zoo, where you just see animals, here you can go wild at the lovely gift shop, and enjoy delicious meals in the cafeteria. They have also just built 2 new play areas for children.
